"If you can’t love your powers, I’ll love them enough for the both of us!"
Maya & Aya. Aya belongs to Crystal, who describes Aya’s world as “Parasyte meets magical girls”.
Colour pencil + gel and inking pens on paper (oh my god I haven’t worked properly in a traditional medium for so long…)
A quick doodle of baby Maya, wearing a shirt that is way too big for her teeny body. Precious sleepy octopus baby.

DWRP icon commissions. Voodoo is DW-user inpulsusvenarum’s pony OC.
Cheer up Sam, you miserable git.
Crystal’s adorkable-but-secretly-malevolent Lovecraftian horror of an OC, whom she requested along with colour pallet 13.

Here’s Twilight without her background, too, just because I really liked how she came out. The Rainbow Power character designs are such a shambles.

Princess Twilight says honour the achievements of women. Raise up your sisters and help their light shine everywhere!

procrastinating trying to learn how to draw my line art smoother and quicker, so here’s a quick Steph doodle.
Stephanie is a hybrid with leaf-nosed bat DNA. The delectably poofy ring of fluff around her neck is actually a genetic mutation, and so nobody else in her family shares that trait.
She can come off as standoffish and antisocial, but in actuality her withdrawn nature comes from the fact her hearing disorder makes it difficult for her to socialise. Her friendship with her plucky octopus friend Maya is a rocky but important one, for as much as Maya annoys Stephanie, Maya is socially dense enough not to be deterred by Steph’s distant exterior and blunt tone.
Steph is a closet comic book nerd (the fact she shares a name with Batgirl is simply an amusing coincidence that vampiraisin had to point out to me), and is pretending not to notice that her good friend and rabbit DNA-infused classmate Beth is the artist behind her favourite webcomic.
She has two younger twin brothers whom she dotes on immensely, as much as the amount of noise they make irritates her.

EDIT: Updated the image as I realised I’d drawn Steph’s upper leg about five miles too long.
